Tosepan Kali, which in our Nahuatl language means “Our House”, is a cooperative of alternative tourism, created under the cooperative movement of the Tosepan Titataniske Cooperative Society, an organization comprised of indigenous peasant families from the Northeastern Sierra of Puebla, working together to improve our quality of life.
At Tosepan Kali, we are committed to conducting tourism activities in harmony with nature. For this reason, all our facilities are equipped with eco-technologies, such as the use of alternative materials, rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment systems, solid waste management, and solar energy capture systems.
Cuetzalan, a Magic Town, is the place where Tosepan Kali opens its doors for you to enjoy a unique experience, interacting with nature and the traditions of our region. We invite you to share with us a different way of doing tourism.
We are a social enterprise formed by indigenous Nahuatl men and women; we provide a distinguished, high quality, tourist service, respecting nature and promoting the values of Nahuatl Culture and Cooperatives.
Being a network of Alternative Tourism in the Northeastern Sierra region of Puebla, promoting social development, and generating solidarity economy processes through conscious tourism.
The Magic Town that lives in the mountains between foggy forests, coffee plantations, waterfalls, caves, grottoes and giant ferns; where the birds begin their song and the very meaning of its name affiliates it with the divine mythical bird of pre-Hispanic cultures: the quetzal.
Come, relax, and let yourself be pampered with our spa services, including temazcal, massages, facials, and relaxation baths. All our treatments are based on the use of natural cosmetic products derived from melipona honey and natural wax, which are directly extracted from the native stingless bee (Scaptotrigona mexicana), as well as the use of traditional herbal medicine from the region. This allows for the preservation of the culture and traditional Nahuatl knowledge.
